4-H Greene County Fair June Information Booklet: This booklet has all infomation for 4-H member to be sucessful at this years County Fair.

2026 Livestock Schedule

 

Club Booth & Assembly Building Patrol: 4-H Clubs and Committees are invited and encouraged to plan and design a 4-H Club Booth to promote 4-H in the Assembly Building. Using the theme, “Red, White, Blue, and YOU!” showcase members, projects, and achievements while promoting 4-H to fairgoers.

Silent Auction Fundraiser: 4-H Clubs are invited to provide an item or basket of items to this year’s Silent Auction in the Youth Assembly Building. The 4-H Club retains 90% of funds raised while the Greene County 4-H Advisory Committee retains 10% for programming and scholarships. Although Silent Auction items are monitored by 4-H Clubs, it is recommended to secure items in a safe manner (i.e. wrap basket with cellophane.)

Assembly Building Patrol Shifts:  4-H Clubs are asked to help keep the Assembly Building tidy, safe, and provide protection of projects and silent auction items by signing up for shifts to monitor the building. Each club must complete two shifts. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Duties of patrol shifts include, but are not limited to:

  • Guarding projects, booths, and silent auction items
  • Positively representing Greene County 4-H
  • Answering questions, engaging fairgoers, and answering questions about joining 4-H

Duties of clean-up shifts include:

  • General clean-up of the assembly area (pick up trash, straighten chairs)
  • Empty trash
  • Vacuum assembly building
