School Enrichment creates Fun, Hands-On, and Educational Experiences
4-H is a leadership program offered for youth ages 5 (and in Kindergarten) to 19. Youth participate in project-based learning activities that allow learning by doing. All 4-H programs focus on quality experiences. Programs (listed below) are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
National 4-H focuses on:

- STEM and Agriculture
- Citizenship

CHICK QUEST
What can we learn from a chick? Find out in this school enrichment programs that challenges youth to use science, engineering, and technology to investigate the life cycle of an embryonic chicken egg. From monitoring living eggs to observing fluffy chicks, these lively activities pique curiosity, encourage collaboration and communication, and provide young scientists with unforgettable experiences. The user fee is $30.00 for each classroom that uses the “4-H in the Classroom” programs offered through the Ohio State University Extension.

Plant the seed
Youth learn all about the life cycle of seeds. Teachers receive grow light and materials to learn to germinate seeds and grow plants.

PROJECT GREENE teacher
Project Greene Teacher is a school garden educational program for afterschool personnel, educators, and others who are engaged in or would like to learn more about gardening as a context for learning. Also, this project is very helpful for community organizations interested in starting a community garden.

A dose of financial reality for middle school and high school students
- Active, hands-on financial management experiences with real world
- Six lessons covering budgeting, savings, career choices, earning potential, and lifestyle choices
- Enhances students awareness of household costs
- Impacts changes in students behaviors including working harder in school, saving money, changing spending habits, changing education and training aspirations, or delay starting a family
