Laura started as the Family and Consumer Sciences Educator in May of 2020. She grew up in a rural area south of Buffalo, NY.  Laura graduated from Cedarville University with a degree in Sports and Exercise Studies.  She moved to the east coast and spent time working in New Jersey and later New York City before returning to Ohio to further her education.  She obtained a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Sinclair Community College and is a Nutrition and Dietetic Technician, Registered (NDTR). She began her time at The Ohio State University Extension in Clark County in 2015 where she worked as a SNAP-Ed Program Assistant before being promoted to SNAP-Ed Program Coordinator. Laura is an avid sports fan and enjoys spending her spare time hiking and kayaking.
