    All clubs and committees will receive 15% of their total sales

    Here is the member order form.  As a reminder, we ask all clubs to turn in 1 order form for their entire club. Orders all due to OSU Extension Office by April 6 at the latest.

  2. 2021 Victory Gardens

    It’s time to get your hands dirty and start growing! The Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) and OSU Extension Offices are kicking off the second year of the Victory Gardens Program. Due to high demand, the program is expanding from 10 to 25 counties across the state, with 8,300 seed packets available free to the public to get people planting.

  4. Agricultural Fertilizer 3-Hour Certification Training

    This meeting will fulfill the three-hour requirement for private and commercial applicators who need the Ohio agricultural fertilizer applicatorcertification.

  6. Home Garden Vegetable Trial

    Feb. 23, 2021

    Ohio State University Extension is conducting vegetable trials with home gardeners. We want your opinion as to what grows well in Ohio and what Ohioans prefer (including the taste). There will be two sets of trials this year; spring trials and summer trials. Each will have five vegetables to choose from. You may choose how many of these that you would like to try in your garden. For each vegetable there will be two varieties to test side-by-side.

  7. 2021 Grain Bin Safety Week

    Grain Bin Safety Week starts Sunday, running February 21-27.  OSU Ag Safety & Health will be participating in the watch party Ohio Farm Bureau Federation will be hosting of a live grain bin rescue demo on Wednesday at 11:30 am. Dr. Dee Jepsen and Lisa Pfeifer will be on hand during the broadcast to answer ag safety questions for participants.

  10. Extension Office Open on Mondays and Tuesdays by Appointment Only

    Effective weekly, starting the week of January 18, 2021, the Greene County Extension Office will be open on Mondays and Tuesdays 8:30am to 4:30pm with limited staffing by appointment only. Staff can be reached by calling 937-372-9971 or by calling the staff member direct to schedule an appointment. Staff will continue to telework and are available  by email, to email a staff member - at the top of the page, click "About" then click "County Staff" then you can choose the appropriate employee.
