Lettuce Cook is a three-day youth cooking and gardening program for ages 6-12. Youth will learn basic cooking skills, kitchen safety, and more about growing from garden to fork.
This year's theme is based on the 4-H project book "Snack Attack."
Dates: June 6, 7, and 8
Time: 9 AM - 12 PM
Ages: 6-12
Cost: $20 per youth

This is the last QA we will be offering. It will be held here at our office in the Buckeye Room starting at 5:30pm. Any youth wishing to exhibit an animal at the fair is required to complete Quality Assurance. Quality Assurance for exhibition at the Greene County Fair must be completed by June 1st. Any youth wishing to exhibit at the Ohio State Fair MUST complete Quality Assurance prior to the start of the OSF. All youth wishing to exhibit SWINE at the OSF must have a parent/guardian complete PQA. Youth showing any other animal can participate in any of the offered QA sessions.

MGV Volunteers will hold their annual spring plant sale on Friday, May12th from 1:00pm to 7:00pm at the Greene County Extension Office. There will be herb and vegetable plants available along with a selection of perennials from the MGV gardens.
