• • Session #1 begins with incubator pick-up on February 26, 2026
    • March 3: Add Eggs
    • March 20: Lock Down Day (Day 18!)
    • March 23: Hatch
  • Session #2 begins with incubator pick-up on April 9, 2026
    • April 14: Add Eggs
    • May 1: Lock Down Day (Day 18!)
    • May 3: Hatch Day
• Most eggs will come from local producers willing to accept the chicks at the end of the session.
• Chicks may stay longer at your location but supplies may need returned sooner.
• 4-H Educator may be available to add eggs, candle eggs, and share egg-spertise with students!
• Classroom chickens will be displayed at the Green County Fair on Saturday, August 8 for students to visit. Each classroom will be assigned a unique leg band that their chick will wear for easy identification.
• Cost is $50
