Sports Teams, Area School Groups, and all other youth programs non-profit or commercial may participate as well.    WPAFB base organizations inlcuding 88th ABW Groups & Directorates, 88th ABW Staff Agencies, WPAFB Major Tennant Units, Other Base Agencies, Clubs, and Affiliated Organizations  are also asked to participate.

This year’s competition will feature five categories – Traditional Scarecrows, Military/Patriotic Scarecrows, Topical (Humorous, Celebrity, Fantasy, etc), Scarecrows, Teen Crafted Scarecrows, and Kids/Family Scarecrows for ages 12 and under.  Scarecrows should be sturdy and weather-resistant since they will be on display at the PYC through November 1st.   Any unit wishing to have a scarecrow displayed during November can contact Greene Patriots at the PYC to arrange for delivery.

The PYC is located at 641 Chapel Lane, in the Prairies housing area.  Set-up should be between October 12th–16th. Awards will be announced on October 30th.  Green Patriots are suggesting that any adult unit participating consider a $5.00 donation to help cover the cost of Trophies and prizes. Any group interested needing more information should contact the PYC staff at 937-904-4700.
