Pressure Canner Testing

It’s SPRING, but before you know it you will be harvesting those green beans and corn. Now is the best time to have your dial gauge pressure canner tested. Keep your food and your family safe. Pressure canner dial gauges should be tested once a year and testing can be done for just $5.00 at the Greene County Extension office. Please call Jean at (937) 372-9971 for an appointment. COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio Department of Agriculture today (6/17) announced the first discovery of Asian longhorned beetle (ALB) in Ohio. An exotic, invasive insect that kills maples and other trees, ALB was found in Bethel, Clermont County, in southwest Ohio.
