OSU Extension and ODNR Partner to Offer Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist Training

Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist Training is open to residents of Greene, Clinton and Clark Counties. This seven-week, hands-on program focuses on environmental issues, state parks, wildlife and other areas of natural resources. Once certified, members volunteer 40 hours the first year teaching the values of Ohio’s natural resources to others in area parks. Recertification the following year requires eight hours of advanced training and volunteering an additional 25 hours. Program meets on Tuesdays beginning April 8^th from 8:30 am-3:30 pm at various locations. Cost is $140.00 and includes program materials.
