Dining with Diabetes is a cooking school and nutrition education program designed for people with diabetes and their family members or caregivers.

The second session of the three class series, cooking demonstrations will help you learn healthy techniques to use in your own kitchen. The program includes sampling healthy foods and discussion with a dietitian or certified diabetes educator, plus a follow-up reunion class held at a later date. Class dates are May 3, 10 and 17, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Cost for the program is $30.00 per person. Payment is required by April 28, 2010.

Ohio State Launches Ohio Scholarship Challenge
The Ohio State University has begun a new fund-raising campaign to support students from all 88 Ohio counties. The "Ohio Scholarship Challenge" seeks to raise $100 million in general undergraduate scholarship funds for Ohio State students at all campuses. This Challenge is also part of the university’s larger effort to raise $500 million in private funds for student financial aid and scholarships. The Ohio Scholarship Challenge honorary co-chairs are Ohio State head football Coach Urban Meyer and men’s basketball Coach Thad Matta.
